Backlit LCDs makes whites look too bright in dark scenes. But plasma TVs, which employ self-luminous panels, reproduce every detail with realistic contrast and gradations, even in dark areas. For example, sunsets and dark scenes appear much more realistic on plasma televisions than on LCDs. With plasma TVs, you can enjoy the beauty of images as they were meant to be seen. Movies with a lot of black backgrounds, for example, can be enjoyed more fully on a plasma TV. |
