In LCDs, colors are reproduced by a filter mounted in front of the liquid crystal element. The color of this filter affects all colors displayed. Plasma TVs, on the other hand, reproduce colors through self-emitting light that enables exceptionally faithful color reproduction. Skin colors look natural and greens are realistically represented in natural scenes. This greatly contributes to viewing enjoyment. |
